Employee Safety, Health and Wellness

From the plants that manufacture our products to the break rooms in our offices, establishing safe workspaces for our employees is a top priority.

 

In 2023, we continued to strengthen our safety training for new employees. Our leadership team drove home our safety message in daily workplace conversations. Together, we decreased our lost-time injury rate by 29% year over year.

 

Our company-wide Wellness Program helps employees be proactive about their well-being. For example, we offer biometric health screenings and encourage preventive health check-ups.

Skill-Building

Highly engaged employees with diverse backgrounds contribute to improving the quality of our products and delivering greater customer satisfaction. We invest in skill-building, leadership development and continuing education at all levels to help our people achieve their professional goals. Our employee Tuition Reimbursement Program encourages full-time staff to pursue Associate’s, Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

Ongoing Improvement

We introduced a new behavior-based safety training program for all our manufacturing employees in 2023. The in-person classes encourage everyone to be vigilant about potential risks throughout their day, every day

Leadership Development

Investing in tomorrow’s leaders is crucial to our future growth and success. We build employees’ leadership skills through in-person courses, online resources, micro workshops, and one-on-one mentoring programs. In addition, we provide internship opportunities for college graduates at the start of their careers.
